Click on the links below for some excellent information for parents, kids and dog owners on preventing dog bites. The National Companion Animal Coalition has launched a new web site at www.dogsandkids.ca. Its goal is to reduce the number of dog bites, especially in children under ten. The Humane Society of the United States also has a website on bite prevention at www.hsus.org/ace/11858. The Kindness Club of Fredericton delivers Bite Prevention Presentations to children in Fredericton and surrounding areas, as well as presentations on kindness to animals, animal abuse, and proper pet care.
